Charities of Hope, Incorporated is dedicated to honoring the blessings received in one’s life journey by “giving back” to local communities, non-profit and charitable organizations.
Our organization provides clothing and furniture to the homeless from donations we pickup. We support local nonprofit organizations with support for food delivery and monetary donations for domestic violence related initiatives. Each part of Charities of Hope is dedicated to giving back to the communities that we are in.
Charities of Hope was established in 2002 by my late husband John H Caruso , Jr. JOhn's vision was to build a recycling organization that would hire those who society would not employ and give back to the less fortunate. He worked in partnership with existing organization to help fulfill their purpose and his of giving back to the community.
Volunteers are always needed to help sort through the items that we pick up as donations. Volunteers help us to fill wish lists for 211 victims and individuals participating in reentry programs. Help is needed Mon-Sat to help with operations.

Funding Needs
Our funding needs are for repairs to our building, so that our operation can continue to provide necessities to our homeless, the survivors of domestic violence, families stricken by disaster or individuals in shelters. Our roof was repaired 3 years ago by a company that took $ 35,000 from us and left our roof in worse shape than when they originally started. We were taken advantage of and are struggling to recover and replace the now tarp that we have for our facility. The cost to repair the roof is $ 50,000.
